The SD Hoops Closing Party in San Diego will take place on Mar. 14 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm at Pecs. The organization will have free food for the players as well as MillerCoors drink specials. All players in attendance will receive a raffle ticket which may earn them a prize in our drawing. Awards will be handed out to individuals and teams, and we will elect our new Board of Officers.

Nominations are still being accepted for Board positions. All 5 positions are up for election this year. Those interested are encouraged to apply for available positions to include Commissioner (1-year term in 2012, 2-year terms thereafter), Assistant Commissioner (2-year term), Treasurer (2-year term), Secretary (1-year term), and Webmaster (1-year term). Please help give back to the league with your time and ideas!
Congratulations to Baja Betty‘s and Big Mike’s Sports Rub for advancing to the title game, which will be held Mar. 7 at 8:00pm. The Loft and Bulls & Bears will play for the third-place medals at 7:00pm on the same day. Fans are encouraged to support these teams who have worked all season to get into this position.
