Lesbian San Diego

Pug Rescue of San Diego County, an all-volunteer non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing unwanted, neglected, abandoned and relinquished pugs, will host its third annual Pugs ‘n Kisses event Sat., Feb. 4 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Fido & Co., Canine Country Club, located at 1228 University Ave. in Hillcrest. The fundraiser kicks off at 2p.m. and will feature a doggie-couture fashion show, pug kissing booth, silent auction, raffles and wine and cheese tasting. Tickets are just $22 pre-registration; $25 at the door for pugs and their parents.

In 2011, volunteers from Pug Rescue took in more than 150 pugs. Relinquished pugs live in foster care until their forever home is found. Funds raised will help the organization continue to provide medical intervention and comfort in foster care to the pugs relinquished to Pug Rescue of San Diego County.
