Hulk Hogan is trying to keep a sense of humor on allegations that he is gay, reports Yahoo! OMG. But despite his lightheartedness, the wrestling legend has filed a defamation lawsuit against his ex-wife who reportedly fueled the rumors in a radio interview, later alleging abuse in her tell all book, Wrestling the Hulk: My Life Against the Ropes.
Terry Bollea, known as Hulk Hogan, filed the 18-page lawsuit against ex-wife Linda Bollea in Clearwater, Fla. Thursday.
The claims against ex-wife Bollea stem from her autobiographical book where she claims the Hulk pinned her down in arguments, causing her to fear her life. Hulk’s lawsuit claims Bollea “exposed him to distrust, hatred, contempt and ridicule,” Us Weekly is reporting.
“If any of that was true, I would admit it, and I was a homosexual I would embrace it. It’s just so crazy to hear, so I have a real problem with it….If you’re going to say I’m something that I’m not to try to ruin my career and my livelihood….I have to answer her back,” said Hogan.
He added: “It’s so ridiculous. I don’t mean to laugh about it, because it’s not funny. But it’s insane. It doesn’t make any sense to me.”
