A Midsummer Night’s Dream

Coronado Playhouse presents their 15th annual free Shakespeare production.

Terence J. Burke stars as Oberon in A Midsummer Night’s Dream , in which Shakespeare assembles a comic array of rustics, young lovers, royalty and magical forest creatures who fall in and out of love in the Athenian forest. The play is one of Shakespeare’s most popular works for the stage and is widely performed across the world. A true delight for audiences of all ages.

To Be The Best

San Diego Chorus of Sweet Adelines International presents its annual show, To Be The Best. This high-energy song and dance production will include hit music spanning eight decades and will consist of wide-ranging genres from contemporary to Broadway hits to original barbershop favorites. Featured Broadway classic tunes include “I Got the Sun in the Morning” from the 1946 musical Annie Get Your Gun, and “Standing on the Corner,” the hit 1956 song from the musical The Most Happy Fella . Also appearing are three special guests – award-winning men’s and women’s quartets that will also perform throughout the concert.

A Taste of University Heights is a self-guided, walking tour of delectable delights showcasing mouthwatering cuisines from more than 18 prominent and diverse restaurants and eateries in the area.
