The Old Globe presents a Rocky Horror Time Warp Flash Mob at CityFest, Aug. 14 at 2:30 p.m. and 3:25 p.m. in the intersection of Fifth Avenue and Robinson Avenue.
Fans of the cult musical, The Rocky Horror Show, can join in the fun and dance to the show’s signature tune, “The Time Warp.” Participants are even encouraged to dress as their favorite Rocky Horror character.
To refresh their dance steps, the Globe has posted a “How to do The Time Warp” instructional video on its Web site, theoldglobe.org, and YouTube page youtube.com/theoldglobe.
Richard O’Brien’s The Rocky Horror Show opens The Old Globe’s 2011-12 Winter Season and plays in the Old Globe Theatre from Sept. 15 to Nov. 6. Tickets go on sale online Aug. 19 at midnight at theoldglobe.org.
