The annual Rob Benzon Foundation launch party is Friday, July 15, 6-10 p.m. on the grounds of the historic Burnham House (3576 Seventh Ave.). General admission is $50 and includes 10 chef’s tables, hosted bars, a silent auction with more than 100 items, live music and more.
The Rob Benzon Foundation’s mission is to honor the memory of a friend and vibrant member of the LGBT community by turning his tragic and untimely death at 31 into a positive force for the many lives he continues to touch. Since his death in 1999, the Foundation has raised more than $80,000 for the local LGBT community.
