Hip-hop producer and DJ Mister Cee has pleaded guilty to a charge of loitering and lewd conduct after he was arrested for receiving oral sex from another man in a parked car.
The New York Daily News reported that Cee, real name Calvin LeBrun, together with Lawrence Campbell was arrested in the early hours of March 30 at Watts and West Streets, in New York. The charge was “loitering for the purpose of engaging in a prostitution offense.”
Cee was ordered to complete three months – or 12 sessions – of counseling with a doctor.
Cee had previously been convicted on the same charge last October after being arrested in Lower Manhattan and pleading guilty a month later.
Popular Hot 97 DJ Cee hosts Throwback at Noon, an hour-long classic hits show. After his arrest a manager at Hot 97 told the Daily News the allegations were untrue. When the paper tried to contact the station after the guilty plea officials did not return calls.
Cee’s companion was given an adjournment in contemplation of dismissal and following six months of good behavior he will have the case cleared from his record.
Cee first made his name in the hip-hop world as a DJ. He also produced Notorious B.I.G’s first album, Ready to Die, in 1994. He has recently released a line of soft drinks called “Island Punch Finisher.”
