After spending 25 year creating elegant couture silhouettes with femmes in mind, Francisco Medavog is about to launch his first ever Collection for men –“Black Noir”.
Medavog is an artist and designer who has been captivated by the world of Fashion since age 13. After attending school at FIDM Los Angeles, Medavog has churned out decadent couture collections that have been shown throughout various cities in the United States and abroad including the 1992 Olympics in Seville, Spain. Medavog was asked to display his collection at the famous Playboy mansion as well as many galleries and museums in California.
Medavog’s career to date has run the fashion gamut with creations including sexy swimwear, flirty cocktail dresses and extravagant opera coats. Medavog states, “I have always been inspired by big things … art, architecture, and of course humanity.” Medavog’ s past collections include Lines of Future, Tenochtitlan, Gothic Woman from Toledo, Cleopatra, The White and Silver collection, Erte, and Beautification.
Medavog is also a prolific artist whose paintings and drawings has been shown throughout Southern California. Medavog will debut his first ever collection for men Thursday, Nov. 16 at Brick Bar in Uptown San Diego located at 1475 University Ave. in San Diego. Show time starts at 8 p.m.
Medavog’s other collection (women’s) will be featured Saturday, Nov. 11 at ART meets FASHION at Hard Rock Hotel Bar 207.
