Friday afternoon, ELLE.com released a video featuring Nemis, an eight-year-old boy who transforms into his drag queen alter ego Lactatia. Since it was posted, the video has been viewed more nearly 25 million times, shared more than 200K times and received more than 50K comments.
In the video, Nemis opens up about his love for dancing, makeup, dressing up, RuPaul’s Drag Race, and why he won’t let anyone stop him from doing what makes him feel accepted.
“I think I’ve had Lactatia inside of me since I was born, and that’s why I love that song ‘Born This Way’,” he tells ELLE.com.
The video also features a special guest – Vivacious from season six of RuPaul’s Drag Race – who surprises Lactatia on the set of her ELLE.com shoot, gives her tips, and says that she’s going to grow up to be “a weapon of mass devastation.”
