SAN DIEGO, Calif. – Aging with HIV, cognition, isolation, and proper nutrition are a few of the topics that will be discussed at Living a Positive Life, a workshop for HIV/AIDS long-term survivors and all those affected by the epidemic. Scott Letendre, MD, UCSD will be joined by activists Andy Kaytes, UCSD Community Advisory Board, Venice “Pepper” Price, Trans Positive, Martha Robles, Christies Place and Raul Robles, LGBT Center in a discussion led by HIV advocate Frank Jones. A look at nutrition and HIV will be presented by Tera Stone. Pharm D. Kate Kasanis-Semel, M.A from Mental Health America will offer strategies to use when times get tough.
Living a Positive Life will be will be held Saturday, July 8, from 9:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the auditorium of The San Diego LGBT Center.
