Open letter to Eric Heinritz
Hello Eric,
I wanted to extend heartfelt congratulations to you regarding your new position. Having had a front row seat as you transversed the vigorous interview process, I am confident in your ability to lead San Diego LGBT Pride. I look forward to how your experience and talent will help Pride bridge the community divide and move the organization forward. I rest assured in the Executive Transition Committee’s work and the BOD’s decision in selecting you as the next executive director of Pride. Congratulations again!
I have served as a volunteer for San Diego LGBT Pride in some capacity every year since 2008. I’ve worked as a Main Stage stagehand, talent liaison, board member and treasurer for the board. None of these opportunities have brought me more satisfaction or been more rewarding than serving on two Executive Transition Committees, once as a board member and in this most recent as a community member.
