Organizers of The Equality March for Unity and Pride, set to take place in Washington, D.C. June 11 have released a new poster promoting the march.
“Organization for the coming march is building momentum across the country,” National Co-chair of The Equality March Nicole Murray Ramirez told LGBT Weekly. “This includes support from the organizers of the recent Women’s March, Climate March and other progressive causes and allies.”
The march will coincide with Capital Pride, Washington, D.C.’s annual pride celebration, and organizers hope to draw big numbers to send a clear message to Washington’s lawmakers that LGBTQ rights are not to be threatened.
