Today, Fox News let go of their long-time host Bill O’Reilly. According to media reports a slew of sexual-harassment claims scared off “O’Reilly Factor” advertisers in droves.
For most of his career, O’Reilly was staunchly against LGBT rights. After the Supreme Court ruled against DOMA and Prop 8, he insisted “I don’t buy into the fact that homosexuals have a constitutional right to marry. I don’t believe that.” He also opposed allowing gays to join the Boy Scouts and compared the ACLU to Nazis for suing the organization.
