David Koechner

Green Day
Green Day is an American punk rock band formed in 1986. Green Day was originally part of the punk scene at the DIY 924 Gilman Street club in Berkeley, California. The band’s early releases were with the independent record label Lookout! Records. In 1994, its major label debut Dookie became a breakout success and eventually shipped over 10 million copies in the U.S. Green Day was widely credited, alongside fellow California punk bands Sublime, Bad Religion, The Offspring, Blink-182 and Rancid with popularizing and reviving mainstream interest in punk rock in the United States.

Queen of the Desert
A 2015 American epic biographical drama film written and directed by Werner Herzog and is based on the life of British traveller, writer, archaeologist, explorer, cartographer and political officer Gertrude Bell. The film follows Bell’s life chronologically, from her early twenties till her death. It is Herzog’s first feature film in six years after his 2009 film My Son, My Son, What Have Ye Done?

Women Painters
Madison Gallery presents Women Painters a group exhibition featuring the work of abstract artists: Jane Booth, Mel Davis and Karen Silve. Throughout art history many women artist were encouraged to divorce art practice from female experience and self-awareness in order to succeed professionally. This shifted in the twentieth century, as women became an integral part of society and female artists found their space within male-centric art movements, most importantly, Abstract Expressionism.

Father John Misty
Father John Misty is an indie rock singer-songwriter hailing from Baltimore. Since his solo debut in 2004, he has released 10 studio albums and has also performed as the drummer for both Saxon Shore and Fleet Foxes. J. Tillman’s music paints languid, sadly beautiful portraits of love and life on the margins with the moody depth of Nick Drake and the country-influenced textures of Ryan Adams.
