The Center’s Cheli Mohamed needs your help to recruit and train
hundreds of volunteers for our 11th annual Dining Out For Life (DOFL) San Diego Thursday, April 27.
DOFL volunteers play an essential role by serving as DOFL ambassadors and event volunteers. Ambassadors promote a specific participating restaurant with the goal of packing that particular venue. They welcome guests at their assigned restaurant, answer questions, and help with our annual drawing. Our event volunteers help us promote the event in advance and on the day of the event.

“Volunteers are an essential ingredient in the success of Dining Out For Life,” Mohamed said. “Their enthusiasm and compassion help us raise much-needed funds for HIV services and prevention efforts. They also make a difference by bringing the issue of HIV to the forefront and helping end the stigma associated with the disease.”
