The San Diego Human Dignity Foundation (SDHDF) announced today that registration is now open for The Recovery Ride 2017.
Kick off your New Year’s resolution to get healthier, and join SDHDF for the second-annual Recovery Ride with routes around the gorgeous San Diego Bay. Whether you are a casual cyclist or training for a “Tour,” the three route lengths (12/25/40 miles) will provide fun options for everyone! This is a ride, not a race, and everyone is welcome!
Ride Details – Sunday, Jan. 29
- Have fun and raise funds for San Diego organizations
- Creative rest stops and lively festival
- Spandex and Lycra are optional (but encouraged!)
- Safety first, no rider will be left behind, and “awesomeness” bragging rights bestowed!
You can join or create a team to ride with this year if you want (that’s new!). On the registration page, you’ll find a list of a few of the teams that have been created already – join one of those if you like – but what’s more important is that you come join in, have fun, and break a sweat for a great cause. If you start a team, you can invite your friends to join you.
Additional information, including invites to training rides, may be found on the Recovery Ride Facebook page!
Not a cyclist, but want to volunteer? There are lots of ways to support the riders, and you may sign up at our volunteer registration site!
The beneficiaries in 2017 are Stepping Stone of San Diego and the San Diego HIV Funding Collaborative.
