The autopsy results on George Michael’s body have proved inconclusive and further tests will need to carried out, British police reported Friday.
Michael, who died on Christmas Day, was found by his boyfriend Fadi Fawaz and it was initially reported that he had died of heart failure.
CNN reported that Thames Valley police, the local force, said a postmortem examination was carried out on Thursday, “The cause of death is inconclusive and further tests will now be carried out.,” the statement said. “The results of these tests are unlikely to be known for several weeks.”
A file would be prepared for the Oxfordshire coroner, the police said.
