NEW YORK, NY – The history of legendary drag pageants in the U.S. dates back to the 1970s. This year in Orlando, Fla., five reigning national pageant title holders came together to shoot a commemorative photograph as a symbol of unity and to wish everyone Happy New Year.
This historic portrait was the brainchild of the current Miss Gay America, Suzy Wong and marks the first time five national drag pageant system title holders have been photographed together.
