For those who are familiar with a cancer diagnosis, there are stages of any cancer. Depending upon the prognosis, your doctor can design treatments to strike against America’s egalitarian killer. America itself now has a cancer that is in Stage 3.
Stage 0 is called cancer in situ or in-place. Disenfranchised voters in the middle of the country are unhappy with immigrants and minorities. Immigrants are blamed for taking their jobs. Other minorities are responsible for taking their culture; gays on TV, hip-hop music and gun control.
Stage 1 is a small cancer or tumor that has not grown deeply into nearby tissues. The election of Barack Obama ushered in this stage of Trump cancer. The delegitimizing of the first African American president by questioning his birth. A congressman boldly yelling at President Obama “you lie,” during a State of the Union address. The Senate GOP leader declaring that his goal was to make Obama a one-term president. The rise of the Tea Party.
Stage 2 and 3 are stages that indicate larger cancers or tumors that have grown more deeply into nearby tissue. The cancer may have also spread to lymph nodes but not to other parts of the body. Trump cancer spread when Republicans galvanized around many fights with President Obama. Whether it was Obamacare, the repeal of Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell, the Supreme Court decision for marriage equality or the Religious Freedom Restoration Acts, the cells developing were gathering to move Trump cancer beyond the borders of middle America.
Then came the acute episode; Trump winning the Republican primary. The cancer was clearly spreading, spreading into the traditional Democratic strongholds like Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and Michigan.
Our “doctors” were unable to detect the spread of Trump cancer. The Democratic National Committee, the press and the “residents” in the Clinton campaign missed all symptoms that Trump cancer was in Stage 2. The tumor had spread to nearby tissue.
Then the general election began. Our “doctors” were sure they could cure Trump cancer, after all it was just Stage 2. The cancer was responding to treatment; in fact, it was clearly beginning to be in remission. Trump’s racist and misogynist statements seemed to be reducing his support. The patient, American democracy, seemed to be on the mend. Our doctors were predicting a discharge Nov. 8, 2016. As part of the family, I was giddy. Discharge day came and the patient took a turn for the worse. American democracy was rushed to the ICU. Trump cancer had spread to Stage 3. The prognosis for the patient was guarded and it was recommended that “specialists” be brought in.
The specialists suggested a rarely used treatment to prevent progression to Stage 3; the Electoral College voting based upon its conscience and the popular vote. Each Elector could potentially face a minor fine for not voting per their state results, but a GoFundMe me campaign could protect any Elector from financial liability. The prognosis is guarded until Dec. 19 when the Electors cast their ballots.
If the Electors do not decide to buck convention, as is their right, then Trump Cancer will proceed to Stage 3. We have already seen evidence of Trump Cancer metastasizing across America with more than 700 hate-related incidents reported, fueled by Trump’s election. This is also evidenced by Trump’s selection of ultra-right individuals to his cabinet like Alabama Sen. Jeff Sessions, who was deemed too racist to be a federal judge.
Stage 3 will be Trump’s ascendency to the presidency. The simple question is whether the Democrats, fair minded Republicans and most American people, are ready to stand up against this cancer that may kill American democracy. STAMPP CORBIN

Nice attempt to stir up the unthinking.
Anyone can go paint a Nazi symbol on a wall — including someone opposed to Trump who wants to make him and his supporters look bad.
When Obama won, nobody compared his presidency to cancer.
But continue with the hysteria and flying of false flags. It should make the next four years a lot of fun to watch.
Nice try @Andrew. President Obama did not run a campaign using fear of immigrants and different religions, which is my first thought after reading your verbal diarrhea of a comment. And your use of the term “false flags” gives away the fact that you are a full blown, tinfoil hat wearing, Breitbart and Alex Jones fan who see the boogeyman everywhere except the straight, white, Christian male with a stay at home wife and two and a half kids. Go back to your conspiracy theory websites please, we won’t bother you there.
Greg, I think you forgot to say fear of “illegal immigrants who commit murder” like the murderers of Kate Steinle and Josh Wilkerson just to give a couple of examples.
And I think — instead of fear of “different religions” — you forgot to say fear of “unvetted Muslim terrorists” like Tashfeen Malik who was admitted to this country on a K-1 visa and then joined her husband in murdering a roomful of innocent people in San Bernardino.
That’s the world you on the loony left have given us, and it has now been rejected by the American people.
So you can stop crying crocodile tears over Muslims who see nothing wrong with executing gays and enslaving women. And you can stop crying crocodile tears over illegal aliens who take jobs away from blacks and other Americans.
America sees through your “social justice” pretense, which has nothing to do with justice and everything to do with hating whitey, hating America, and promoting a Third World Plantation dominated by a small global elite of which — I am sure — you will never be a part!. .
