St Paul’s Episcopal Cathedral opens its doors to the public for healing and reconciliation

St Paul's 2SAN DIEGO — The doors of St. Paul’s Episcopal Cathedral will be open to the public for healing and reconciliation on Election Day Nov. 8.  “After a contentious campaign season our city and country is in need of healing,” said the Very Reverend Penny Bridges, Dean of St. Paul’s Episcopal Cathedral.

On the day after the election, Nov. 9, the dean will also preside at the noon Eucharist at the cathedral and pray for the healing of our nation.

On the evening of Nov. 9, Dean Bridges will participate in an interfaith service for hope and unity at the University Christian Church with other diverse San Diego community religious leaders with prayers and reflections in response to the divisive nature of this years’ election cycle.
