Join the Candi Wrappers Nov. 6 for Art from the Heart 2-6 p.m. at 5100 Memorial Drive, La Mesa.
Art from the Heart is a garden art show and auction featuring donated pieces by local artists. There will also be wine tasting, catered tidbits and entertainment. There is a $10 donation at the door.
The event will benefit Las Memorias an HIV/AIDS Hospice in Tijuana, with help with much needed daily household items for the residents there.
There are 30 young children and 100 adults who live at Las Memorias. The home has been running for 16 years, and is the only home some of these residents know in the state of Baja.
