Homophobe apologizes after his rant against bicyclist goes viral (VIDEO)

A man whose homophobic rant against a bicyclist was recorded on film which subsequently racked up thousands of views on YouTube has now apologized.

Ryan Lewis of Orange County, Calif. delivered his rant in a confrontation with a bicyclist after Lewis apparently failed to share the road which was a designated Share the Road lane.

Thursday afternoon Lewis  went on the CBS local evening news to apologize for his behavior. “I’m just an old surfer, knucklehead, and I do apologize for using the words that I used,” he said.

    Stay the FUCK of the sidewalk.
    You DO belong on the street, not on the sidewalk in a commercially zoned aria.
    You DO NOT belong on the sidewalk in Hillcrest.
