Mayor Kevin Faulconer and other community leaders to celebrate opening of new substance abuse treatment facility in Hillcrest 6/29

Mayor Kevin Faulconer, former Mayor Jerry Sanders, City Commissioner Nicole Murray-Ramirez, District 3 Councilman Elect Chris Ward and City Commissioner Susan Jester will gather June 29 to officially open BLVD Treatment Centers’ new Hillcrest location.

BLVD Treatment Centers’ CEO Stampp Corbin and Chief Clinical Officer Dr. Lauren Costine will also be present at the commemorative ribbon-cutting ceremony which will take place at 2 p.m. The new facility is located at 3785 West Sixth Avenue, Suite #200, in San Diego.

“BLVD is committed to help those with substance use disorder, particularly those affected by the national opioid crisis, in America’s Finest City, San Diego,” said Corbin. “More Americans die every day from drug overdoses than from motor vehicle crashes.”
“We’re very grateful for the community’s support,” said Dr. Costine. “BLVD’s mission is promote sobriety, wellness, and quality of life through evidence-based treatment methods and we are very excited to be able to help people reach those goals in San Diego.”

The spacious new center will provide an evidence-based, client-centered and trauma-informed approach to recovery in a well-appointed and boutique setting. Each client will experience an individualized plan of care that includes individualized and group therapy, exclusive treatment tracks, and an array of special amenities and other services. 

BLVD Treatment Centers is a JCAHO accredited substance abuse brand based in Los Angeles, that is expanding to service the needs of San Diego’s community. BLVD is dedicated to fighting the nation’s opioid epidemic and end the pain of substance abuse sufferers.
