Queer TV network gaySVTVworld celebrates Pride month with even more LGBT content including three brand new original series. Beginning in June, gaySVTVworld will premiere Trade2Trade, its sexy new talk show featuring men stripped down to the bare-essentials. Also on the summer slate is Empty Your Sack, Queen, a “woman”-on-the-street series and Poop Up Videos, an insider’s look at the making of some of Sherry Vine’s classic music parodies. “Pride is my favorite time of the year,” explains gaySVTVworld’s Sherry Vine. “It’s a time to let our wigs down and reflect on how far we have come and celebrate where we are now and the good times ahead!”
“We’re doing this Pride in Sherry-ific style,” proclaims Josh Rosenzweig, the network’s co-founder. “We’re mixing comedy, music, a bit of gay history and whole lotta sexiness.”
In addition to the new programs, gaySVTVworld’s current leading talk show, Sherry and The Greek, will focus on gay history and coming out topics throughout the month and welcome LGBTQ and straight allies including popular YouTube stars DailyLondons and HERCfitness. Then, on Sunday June 26, Sherry and Chris (the Greek) will broadcast their show from New York Pride, bringing all the highlights of America’s biggest gay festival to homes around the world.
- Trade2Tradestars Kalle Westerling and his partner in crime, Monet Xchange, as they sit down and dish with go-go boys, male burlesque performers and porn stars who all have more to reveal than their hot bods. Directed by David Serrano, each episode will feature an in-depth interview and a field trip where the guest will teach Kalle and Monet something about their life: a routine, a pole dance or even how to deep throat! Guests for season one include porn star/designer Boomer Banks, Burlesque performer/Cocky Boys exclusive Chris Harder, and go-go boy/personal fitness instructor Geronimo.
- Empty Your Sack, Queenstars Sherry Vine as she corners nightlife celebrities from around the world and asks the questions on everyone’s minds. How many dresses can Bob The Drag Queen fit into a gym bag? What does Wendy Ho have in that Canal St Louis Vuitton pocketbook? Why does Maci Sumcox only need a clutch? New shows air every Saturday beginning June 4th.
- Poop Up Videos features filthy music parodies by Sherry Vine and her longtime collaborator, music video director Francis Legge (a contestant on Master Chef Season 5). Francis and Sherry have made for over 100 music video parodies. Here they offer some behind-the-scenes stories, silly memories, secrets and tons of laughs. Videos include parodies of “Firework”, “Hello”, “Born This Way”, and “Let’s Have A Kiki”. New shows air every Friday beginning June 3rd.
Sherry Vine’s hilarious video parodies have made her a YouTube sensation, being viewed over 15,000,000 times! She has appeared on the off-Broadway stage, in numerous films including Stonewall and Wigstock and has starred in two seasons of Here TV’s variety show, She’s Living For This.
She launched gaySVTVworld with Here TV executive Josh Rosenzweig as a platform to showcase original programming from top queer talent. The current slate of programs are Sherry and the Greek, Know Your gAy-B-Cs, The Anita & Gina Marie Show, Throwback Thursdays with Pickles and Behind The Drag Curtain.
Josh Rosenzweig served as SVP of Here TV for ten years where he produced over two hundred hours of television programming including She’s Living For This and Heart of Broadway: An Inside Look at Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. He was also the host of the hit TV talk show Just Josh. Rosenzweig has directed many music videos, award-winning films and over forty productions for the theater. He has been nominated for two Daytime Emmy Awards.
