San Diego Musical Theatre (SDMT) has announced that it will be offering a variety of musical theatre training opportunities as a part of their Summer Master Series.
SDMT will be offering three packages:
Package A: The Master Series
JULY 11-29
Receive the ultimate musical theater training in this three week course that combines both their Audition Intensive and Showcase with Master Classes (see below).
WHEN: Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
AGES: 10-22*
COST: $900
Package B: Audition Intensive & Showcase
JULY 11-22
Spend two weeks training with top, local, professional performers and instructors. These professionals will help create an audition package designed just for you including monologues, songs and updated resume. Students will have the opportunity to add on a professional head shot. At the end of the two weeks each student will be featured in a showcase for some of San Diego’s top directors from SDMT, The Old Globe, Moonlight, and more!

Package C: Master Class Intensive
JULY 25-29
Spend 30 hours studying with some of Broadway’s top professionals. Polish audition songs and monologues, learn TV and commercial audition techniques, and improve cold reading and callback skills. Explore the nuances of voice-over work, improve your ability to pick up dance combinations and more! A different master teacher leads each session of this unique summer offering!Previous Instructors Include: Tom McCoy, Nick DeGruccio, Shauna Markey, Ron Colvard, Todd Nielsen, Larry Raben, and other local and national theater professionals.
