Where will you be for Dining Out For Life?

The LGBT Community Center asks San Diegans, “Where will you be for Dining Out For Life Thursday, April 28?”

Let them know where you’ll be for breakfast, lunch and/or dinner during Dining Out For Life® San Diego  and help The Center invite San Diegans to come out for this incredible day-long event!

This year, Councilmember Chris Cate and staff are having breakfast at The Mission – SOMA; Wells Fargo PRIDE will be at Napizza – Hillcrest for lunch and the Young Professionals Council (YPC) will be there for dinner; and Fellowship of Older Gays (FOG) plans to enjoy dinner at Adam’s Avenue Grill.

Dining Out For Life San Diego UPDATE!

Napizza – Little Italy and Napizza – Hillcrest will join the 10th annual Dining Out For Life San Diego  Thursday, April 28 and they have generously decided to donate 50 percent of their proceeds. By doing so, Napizza owner Giulia Colmignoli hopes to raise HIV awareness, strengthen local HIV services and encourage people to access HIV services.

“We believe that coming together for a cause is a beautiful way to help shed light and awareness and aid to benefit our community,” said Colmignoli of Napizza. “We did not even think twice about participating. We felt moved by the opportunity, and we look forward to being a supportive extension for Dining Out For Life.”

If you choose Napizza for lunch or dinner on April 28, you’ll be in for a treat. Napizza features a delicious menu of healthy pizzas and salads that are fresh, organic and locally grown.

Colmignoli recommends that you do not miss out on trying these pizzas — Margherita, La Lasagna, The BAPO, Amatriciana, Spice Me UP & Truffle Porcini – all of which are prepared on their infamous hand-pressed dough that slowly develops over 72 hours. Their newest salad, the Greek Quinoa, is also quickly becoming a favorite.

Both Napizza locations are fast and casual, so no reservation is necessary. For larger parties, the restaurant will gladly make accommodations and take a reservation for Dining Out for Life® on April 28.
