LONDON — Ride share company Uber has suspended one of its London drivers for attempting to eject a lesbian couple from his car for kissing.
PinkNews reported that one of the women tweeted Uber about the driver’s behavior asking the company to, “… please do advise how you would deal with this?”
An Uber spokesperson told PinkNews: “Uber celebrates diversity and does not tolerate any form of discrimination whatsoever. Uber prides itself on providing the highest quality, safest and most convenient service, so we take any incident where we fall short very seriously.”
Back in September of last year a gay couple were allegedly kicked out of their London Uber cab by the driver for sharing a kiss.
