Today is the last day of this season to experience skating ice skating in the heart of America’s Finest City all while benefiting a great cause? Come to NTC at Liberty Station and join in a benefit for the Peckham Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego. Make sure to dress warm and bring a pair of mittens/gloves. During the daytime the ice can be a little wet, so bring an extra pair of socks.

Iñigo Manglano-Ovalle: Juggernaut

Iñigo Manglano-Ovalle’s work utilizes natural forms such as clouds, icebergs, and DNA as metaphors to interrogate social issues. Often using video and sculpture, Manglano-Ovalle’s work connects politics and culture by representing the underlying forces of human interaction and intervention. His video installation, Juggernaut, was filmed in El Vizcaíno Biosphere Reserve in Baja California, the largest protected area in Mexico.
