The deadline to nominate your 2016 LGBT History Month icon is fast approaching.
Equality Forum, the organization that coordinates LGBT History Month, invites you to nominate your icon here by Friday, Dec. 11. Nominated LGBT icons may be living or dead, national or international, and are selected based on one or more of the following criteria:
• They have distinguished themselves in their field of endeavor
• The nominee is a national hero
• They have made a significant contribution to LGBT civil rights
