Bears from throughout Southern California and across the nation will converge on Rich’s San Diego Saturday, Nov. 21 for the Mr. SoCal Bear/Cub Contest & Show. The contest and show starts at 6:30 p.m. with a VIP reception that includes a buffet starting at 5:30 p.m.
The evening will be hosted by Empress Roxy Bleau, and will feature a blessing by the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence and the world premiere of the short film, “Bearspray.” The event will be followed by Rich’s Fuel Bear Dance Party.
The Mr. SoCal Bear/Cub Contest is one of many events going on at SunBears Weekend 2015, “Fur, Fun, & Sun.” This four-day-long event is Bears San Diego’s major fundraiser of the year, when San Diego hosts bears and their admirers from throughout California and beyond.
