The Gay and Lesbian Victory Fund announced today that it has endorsed Chris Ward as a candidate for San Diego City Council.
“We all know that District 3 has had a strong history of leadership on the San Diego City Council, and since Christine Kehoe’s historical election in 1993, the district has had strong LGBT leadership,” said Ward in an email. “That’s why the news of today’s endorsement by the Gay & Lesbian Victory Fund means so much to me.”
Ward, who is running for the District Three seat, has acquired a long list of endorsements including Assembly Speaker Toni Atkins and former state Sen. Christine Kehoe.
