Jake Miller
Ever since Jake Miller began posting his original songs on YouTube a few years ago, the 22-year-old Miami-born pop artist has been building a virtual army of fans. In November, he released his debut EP for Warner Bros. Records, Lion Heart, which sold 8,000 copies its first week alone and climbed to No. 2 on the iTunes Pop chart. Lion Heart features the new single “Dazed and Confused,” featuring Travie McCoy, and “First Flight Home” (produced by Danish songwriter-producer Cutfather), which has shifted 100,000 units.

Pan Gongkai: New Paintings for The San Diego Museum of Art
The San Diego Museum of Art presents six stunning new paintings, created specifically for the Museum by acclaimed contemporary Chinese artist Pan Gongkai. The most prominent of the works presented, at over 45 feet long, exemplifies the combination of classical brush and ink techniques and format in a contemporary context. Created with ink on rice paper, the monumental Noble Virtues can be read from right to left as the viewer walks along its length like a traditional Chinese handscroll.

Sam Smith
Sam Smith is an English singer and songwriter. He rose to fame in October 2012 when he was featured on Disclosure’s breakthrough single “Latch”, which peaked at No. 11 on the U.K. Singles Chart. His subsequent feature – on Naughty Boy’s “La La La” – earned him his first No. 1 single in May 2013.

Jackson Browne
Jackson Browne has written and performed some of the most literate and moving songs in popular music and has defined a genre of songwriting charged with honesty, emotion and personal politics. He was honored with induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004, and the Songwriter’s Hall of Fame in 2007. Jackson’s career began in the mid-’60s in Los Angeles and Orange County folk clubs. Except for a brief period in New York City in the late 1960s, he has always lived in Southern California.
