Contemporary artist Gary Baseman has created a San Diego-themed sketch (shown right) on canvas to be displayed at San Diego LGBT Pride 2015. Attendees at the Music Festival in Balboa Park will help complete the art by lending their hand/fingers to add color to the art piece.
Sponsored by AT&T, the interactive art project is aimed at supporting the San Diego LGBTQ community. Following Pride, the art will be framed and donated for auction to benefit the local chapter of The Trevor Project, an organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention for LGBTQ youth ages 13-24.
