Teams are now forming for AIDS Walk & Run San Diego. The Center invites all current team leaders, and anyone interested in forming a team, to attend their upcoming Team Leader Workshops to get inspired and receive the latest organizing information to bolster your efforts.
Upcoming workshops will take place at The Center, 3909 Centre St. on the following dates:
- Thursday, July 9 8-9am and 6-7pm
- Thursday, Aug. 6 8-9am and 6-7pm
- Thursday, Aug. 20 8-9am and 6-7pm
Forming a team is easy. Teams can range from two members to more than 1,000 walkers. Teams that register 10 or more participants or raise $1,000 by Monday, Sept. 21 at 10am will also earn the highly coveted yellow shoe placard with the team name emblazoned on it. Team members can participate in the Walk, the 10K run or the 5K fun run.
