Today marks a historic victory for the gay rights movement. Celebration will be seen everywhere especially at “Top of the Bay”. It is San Diego’s original LGBT Happy Hour, hosted at the Porto Vista Hotel’s Ripassi Rooftop every Friday night from 5pm-10pm. Top of the Bay is seeing extreme social media traffic and excitement in this achievement.
Hearing the news, Porto Vista Hotel’s Event Coordinator Victoria Price said “It’s going to be a real busy night, Bartenders and staff are prepared for a huge crowd. We’ve got $5 Svdeka Vodka Drink specials and a huge Gay Pride Flag up for display in honor of this historic moment”.
With stunning views of the San Diego Bay, and the friendly neighborhood feel of Little Italy, “Top of the Bay” has been a staple in the community for the past 3 years. Tonight’s turnout is suspected to be one of our largest, not including the upcoming Pride weekend.
