New San Diego on-line HIV Resources Guide now available

The HIV Planning Council conducts needs assessments each year amongst those living with or at risk for HIV; and each year one of the primary barriers to receiving care or prevention treatments that emerges is – community members don’t know where to get the resources they need.
The San Diego LGBT Community Center is committed to providing an on-line HIV resources guide that will help inform the community about where HIV resources can be found. The guide is available at http://www.thecentersd.org/pdf/misc/hiv-resources-san-diego.pdf
“San Diego is fortunate to have world-class resources available for HIV care and treatment and HIV Prevention/PrEP/PEP. But those resources are not helpful to those newly diagnosed or newly tested if they are unaware of them,” said Dr. Delores Jacobs, CEO of The San Diego LGBT Community Center. “Knowing where to get them and how to get them paid for is critical to responsive and responsible HIV care and getting more resource lists out there more often can help! Let’s #bethegeneration that can end this!”
