Pride Music Festival today unveiled the full artist lineup for its five electronic and live stages settled amid the palms of San Diego’s Balboa Park this July 18-19. The list includes current dance, pop, hip-hop, Latin and other acts including Emma Hewitt, Late Night Alumni, Mary Lambert, Ruby Rose, Pierce Fulton, Taryn Manning, Big Freedia, Rocio Banquells and dozens more. Carmen Electra will host the Main Stage on Day 1.
The event is the San Diego region’s biggest music festival celebrating diversity and equality, bringing together 40,000 people over two days from across the nation and the globe.
Pride Music Festival is not-for-profit and supports dozens of charitable organizations, having raised and donated in excess of $2 million over the years. The festival is produced by San Diego Pride, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, and enjoys the support of surrounding neighborhoods as well as the City and County of San Diego.
In addition to the performance stages, Pride Music Festival features an open-air art gallery, food trucks, craft beers, spirits, and more than 200 exhibitor booths offering information, services, and products.
The 2015 theme is “Liberty and Justice for All” and calls for equality for all people, not just in the U.S. but globally. Pride Music Festival features a crowd that is wonderfully diverse, and it is accessible to people with disabilities and affordable to a range of income levels.
“It’s a memorable experience to unite with thousands of people, taking pride in who you are and celebrating each other,” said Executive Director Stephen Whitburn. “Pride Music Festival is for everyone.”
Weekend passes cost just $20 in advance. Weekend VIP passes are only $120 in advance and include VIP entrance, VIP section, VIP restrooms, catered food and 4 hosted drinks each day.
