Twenty years ago as a teenager ChadMichael Morrisette was bullied for being gay.
The Daily Grind reported that Morrisette described his school days as: “During junior high and high school I was bullied for being who I am. I was bullied for being gay. I was bullied for being little. I was bullied for every reason someone is bullied. It was awful. I couldn’t even walk to classes without an adult escort or friends with me.”
Morrisette, now a Los Angeles-based brand consultant and visual designer, was surprised to receive a Facebook message from his former tormentor apologizing to him for his past actions.
The message read:
After spending a few days taking in the apology, the report continued, Morrisette replied:
To which his former bully responded:
It’s never too late!
