A May 4 preliminary hearing has been set for a naked guy who was found inside someone’s bathroom and who told the occupant he only broke in to take a shower.
The nude prowler was discovered at 12:10 a.m. March 17 inside the first floor apartment in the 8700 block of Spring Valley. The occupant and others held the man until sheriff’s deputies arrived and arrested him.
Michael David Dolias, 34, has pleaded not guilty to residential burglary in El Cajon Superior Court. Bail was set at $50,000 and he remains in the George F. Bailey Detention Facility.
The man allegedly removed the air conditioning unit out of the apartment wall on the first floor balcony and then climbed inside the hole to get into the apartment. The occupant heard noises and discovered the nude man in his bathroom.
The intruder repeatedly said he only wanted to take a shower. His clothes were nearby. The sheriff’s department’s press release did not say whether Dolias was under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the time.
