SAN DIEGO – San Diego Mayor Kevin Faulconer and City Councilmember Todd Gloria will name April 7, 2015 “San Diego Gay Men’s Chorus Day” in recognition of the organization’s 30 years of singing, social outreach and changing lives one voice at a time.
The official proclamation will be presented Tuesday, April 7 at 10 a.m. at the City Hall City Council Chamber, 202 C Street, 12th Floor in downtown San Diego. Members of SDGMC will present a special live performance of “Brothers, Sing On” in the Council Chamber.

With more than 220 members, it is one of the largest gay choruses in the world. The group’s official mission is to create a positive musical experience through exciting performances that engage audiences, build community support and provide a dynamic force for social change.
