The U.S. Small Business Administration San Diego District Office in association with the National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC) today announced a no cost LGBT Business Builder event April 17 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Council for Supplier Diversity.
The purpose of the LGBT Business Builder is to remove barriers and increase access to strategic growth opportunities for America’s LGBT business owners. “We are honored to host the LGBT Business Builder here in San Diego,” said SBA District Director, Ruben Garcia, “and continue SBA’s efforts to open doors of opportunity to members of all business communities.”
Join the SBA and NGLCC for the LGBT Business Builder event and attend a workshop that is designed to prepare attendees to:
- Leverage SBA’s extensive network of resources to grow their business.
- Grow their businesses with the NGLCC LGBT Business Enterprise® (LGBTBE) certification
- Open their business to lucrative procurement contracts and opportunities.
- Take advantage of emerging procurement opportunities now open in California as a result of AB1678.
- Work with companies interested in working with LGBTBEs.
