On tonight’s CBS Evening News with Scott Pelley, former Navy sailor Landon Wilson says he was forced to leave the military for being transgender. The report will be broadcast tonight, March 17 on th eCBS Evening News with Scott Pelley, (6:30-7:00 PM, ET) on the CBS Television Network. Wilson, who was born a female, transitioned to a male while serving in the Navy. In tonight’s report, Wilson tells LaPook that after his transition, “it was probably the only time that I knew 100 percent that I could focus on my job without worrying about my gender coming into play.”
