WASHINGTON – GLIFAA, The Harvey Milk Foundation, and The Human Rights Campaign will be hosting a panel discussion featuring all of the American openly LGBT ambassadors, March 24, 8 p.m. at the Knight Conference Center at the Newseum, 7th Floor, 555 Pennsylvania Ave. Northwest in Washington, D.C.
This will be a discussion event, highlighting the importance of working toward global equality.
All six of the currently serving openly LGBT U.S. Ambassadors will be attending:
- Daniel Baer, U.S Representative to the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE)
- John Berry, U.S. Ambassador to the Commonwealth of Australia
- James (Wally) Brewster, U.S. Ambassador to the Dominican Republic
- James Costos, U.S. Ambassador to the Kingdom of Spain and Principality of Andorra
- Rufus Gifford, U.S. Ambassador to the Kingdom of Denmark
- Ted Osius, U.S. Ambassador to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam
Harvey Milk Foundation Founder and President Stuart Milk, and GLIFAA President Selim Ariturk will host the gathering.
