Conchita Wurst, the bearded drag queen who won last year’s Eurovision Song Contest, has announced May 18 as the release date of her debut album, Conchita.
The Austrian drag queen and singer announced the release on Twitter, as part of the promotion for her new single “You Are Unstoppable.”
According to Frontiersmedia.com the May 18 release puts the album out just days before this year’s Eurovision contest, which Wurst will be attending as a green room host, interviewing acts between performances and during the announcement of the results. She’s also expected to perform her winning song from last year during the contest.
