Graham Moore urges people to ‘Stay Weird’ in his emotional acceptance speech for Adapted Screenplay for ‘The Imitation Game’ (VIDEO)

Birdman Or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance) won Best Picture at the 87th annual Academy Awards on Sunday, beating American Sniper, Boyhood, The Grand Budapest Hotel, The Imitation Game, Selma, The Theory of Everything and Whiplash for the honor.

The Imitation Game did however win the Oscar for 2015 Adapted Screenplay. In accepting the award writer Graham Moore gave a moving speech touching on suicide and sexual equality getting a  big applause from the crowd. Watch Moore’s speech above.
