San Diego Jewish Film Festival
This year’s 25th Silver Anniversary San Diego Jewish Film Festival, running Feb. 5-15, will showcase a total of 48 feature films and documentaries which reflect all genres of films. Additionally, 50 short films are a part of the Joyce Forum Feb. 9. The Center is co-presenting two LGBT-themed films, Aimee and Jaguar and Kicking Out Shoshana . Kodo One Earth Tour 2015: Mystery
Kodo returns to La Jolla Music Society with a new and innovative program, Kodo One Earth Tour 2015: Mystery. The drummers transport the audience to a place that conjures the spirit of the Japanese people and their indigenous nature. Exploring the limitless possibilities of the traditional Japanese drum, the taiko, Mystery includes scenes inspired by traditional folk dances, along with newly created scenes by members of Kodo and pieces from their classic repertoire.
