Arrest made in Hollywood murder of transgender woman

The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) have announced that an arrest has been made in the shooting death of a transgender woman who was killed in Hollywood in October.

Aniya Knee Parker, 47, was shot point-blank in the head in the 600 block of North Kenmore Avenue early Oct. 2. In a two-sentence news release, the LAPD said that detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Rampart Division made an arrest but are still looking for two other people.

A $50,000 reward was offered for information in the murder of Parker leading to an arrest.
