Warwick Rowers 2015 Calendar: The Story from Sport Media Productions on Vimeo.
The Warwick University Rowing Club, who have recently released their 2015 naked calendar, have chosen K Anderson’s “Cocoon” to soundtrack the accompanying promotional video. (Watch above)
The calendar, now in its fifth year, was originally produced to help raise funds for the running of the club, and has been so successful that previous editions have been sold in 77 countries and raised over £200,000 ($320,000).
Proceeds from the calendar now help to raise funds for the newly established charity Sport Allies, an initiative set up by the team to reach out to young people challenged by bullying, homophobia or low self-esteem.
The new video has amassed over 700k views since its launch last Friday.
“I was the chubby kid at school who never took part in sports because I was constantly bullied, so I know first-hand how homophobia can stop young people from getting involved. I’m so pleased that my song has been chosen to support this great cause,” said Anderson.
