SAN DIEGO – The holidays already? You bet! The San Diego Gay Men’s Chorus (SDGMC) is already at work on its Holiday Spectacular and is looking for singers, dancers and behind-the-scenes volunteers to join in the fun.
“We just had our biggest show ever with LUV Madonna and we can’t wait to take the Balboa Theatre stage once again,” said Joe Gregore, SDGMC Membership Director. “I’ve been singing with the chorus for more than 15 years and love it! The guys are amazing and every performance is uplifting and puts a smile on your face. The holiday show is always so much fun.”
Anyone interested in singing, dancing or volunteering with SDGMC may go to www.sdgmc.org for more details and to complete an application. Alumni members active as of 2010 do not need to re-audition.
Info Night will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 3 at 7 p.m. at 2961 1st Avenue in San Diego. Additional auditions will be held on Saturday, Sept. 6 from 1 to 5 p.m. and Sunday, Sept. 7 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the University Christian Church (UCC) at 3900 Cleveland Avenue in Hillcrest. Dance auditions are set for Wednesday, Sept. 17 at 7 p.m.
