SAN DIEGO — Aug. 17, Candi Samples present’s a benefit, Back to School, supporting Family Matters and the Backpack/School supplies Program, providing backpacks and school supplies to deserving children. The event will be held at Numbers, 3811 Park Blvd. from 4- 8 p.m. Admission is $5 at the door or a backpack/school supplies. There will be a no host bar, entertainment and a bag lunch for $5. School Board President Kevin Beiser will open the show with a traditional ribbon cutting ceremony.
